
On 18 February, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis participated in a virtual roundtable, which was hosted by the American-Lithuanian Business Council (ALBC), discussed possibilities for expanding cooperation, and got acquainted with the association’s operational plans. The meeting focused on the situation in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Lithuania’s foreign policy priorities, Belarus, as well as other issues of international importance.

The Ambassador Gediminas Varvuolis hosted a working lunch with the Ambassadors of the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) and the Governor of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) Tadashi Maeda.

On 4 May, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius held a video conference with members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania, and discussed economic relations between the United States and Lithuania, international and regional policy, trade issues, and the Government’s measures to fight the COVID-19 outbreak, the relaxation of quarantine measures, and the opening of the state’s borders.
