As the amendments to the Law “On the Legal Status of Aliens” come into force on 1 July 2023, foreigners who are not in the Republic of Lithuania will have to submit applications for a National visa only through an external service provider chosen by the Migration Department.

Please note that in accordance with Article 56(7) of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania "On the Legal Status of Aliens" No IX-2206 of 30 June 2022 amending Law No XIV-1277 of 30 June 2022, applications for the issuance of National visas for the purpose of work in the Republic of Lithuania at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Pretoria are accepted until 16 June 2023 only.
