      On September 28 the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of South Africa in collaboration with the state enterprise under the Ministry of Economy “Enterprise Lithuania”, organized a Business Networking event to present Lithuanian engineering companies that produce and export automotive components. The event was attended by SA government representatives, business people and representatives of the automotive industry and associations.

      Lithuanian Ambassador Sigutė Jakštonytė congratulated participants of the event. The Ambassador noted that promotion of exports is one of the priorities of the Government of Lithuania, and the Embassy is ready to help Lithuanian and South African companies to establish mutually beneficial trade relations.

      Automotive Export Association LAuGEA presented the potential of the Lithuanian engineering and automotive components industry. Products and technological solution were represented by nine companies from Lithuania, namely: “Augija”, “Autosmilga”, “Baltic Filter”, “Baltic Car Equipment”, “Craft Bearings”, “Paint and Coatings Factory”, “Eoltas”, “Jupojos Technika” and “Papilio kibirkštis" (Fin Glass).

      Lithuanian companies “Baltic Filter” and “Dielektrik” are attending the International “Automechanika SA” trade fair in Johannesburg on 27-30 September.
