The submission of a Schengen Visa Applications at the Consular Section of the Embassy of Lithuania in Pretoria is suspended until further notice
Lithuania has implemented recommendations by the Council of the European Union stipulating temporary restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU and their gradual lifting https://data.consilium.europa.eu/doc/document/ST-10095-2020-INIT/en/pdf
By following these recommendations, entry at the Schengen external borders is restricted -
Therefore, the submission of Schengen Visa Applications at the Consular Section of the Embassy of Lithuania in Pretoria is suspended until further notice.
That means:
There will be no appointments for Schengen visas until further notice.
Currently no Schengen visa applications can be handed in, except in those cases, based on the criteria and conditions set out in the recommendation https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/press/press-releases/2020/08/07/lifting-of-travel-restrictions-council-reviews-the-list-of-third-countries/.
