The Embassy will accept legalized documents issued by the countries in which the Embassy resides (South Africa) and is accredited (Angola, Botswana, Mozambique and Namibia) and legalized by the competent authorities of these countries.

The Embassy in South Africa can also accept documents issued by countries to which the Embassy in South Africa is not accreditedif they meet the following criteria:

- the foreign citizen submitting the document is legally resident in South Africa (at least 6 months) and in the countries of accreditation of the Embassy in South Africa.

- the submitted document has been additionally legalized by the diplomatic mission of the country that issued the document, which operates in the Republic of South Africa.
