Lithuanian Ambassador Participates in Commemorative Events Supporting Ukraine
On 24 February, Lithuanian Ambassador Rasa Jankauskaitė, with like-minded partners, stood united with Ukraine and attended a memorial concert organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in South Africa to honor the victims of Russian aggression and show solidarity with Ukraine. The event gathered members of the diplomatic corps, government officials, journalists, and Ukrainian expatriates. The concert was performed by Ukrainian pianist Dr. Taras Filenko, whose music commemorated the resilience and courage of the Ukrainian people.
Ambassador Rasa Jankauskaitė also participated in the opening of the commemorative exhibition “Voices of Resilience”, organized by the Embassy of France, the EU delegation, and the Embassy of Ukraine, which presents artistic perspectives on memory, resilience, and the human realities of war.
