Lithuania Together with Ukraine Honored War Victims

Lithuania participated in a wreath-laying ceremony organized by the Ukrainian Embassy in South Africa, dedicated to honoring the memory of the victims of the Second World War and all other wars.

During the commemoration, the Ukrainian Ambassador, Dr. Olexander Scherba, emphasized that freedom is like love, which must be constantly cared for and protected with all one's heart.

By participating in this event, Lithuania once again confirmed its solidarity with Ukraine and its support for the values of peace and freedom.

The ceremony took place at the Freedom Park memorial in Pretoria, which commemorates those who fought for freedom, human dignity, and peace in South Africa.
