Lithuanian universities in Study in Europe Fair in Johannesburg and Cape Town
On February 15-18, European universities introduced South African students with the academic opportunities in Europe at the Study in Europe Fair, organized by the European Commission, which took place in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
At the Fair, Lithuania was represented by the representatives of Vytautas Magnus University, Vilnius University, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences and Education Exchanges Support Foundation. Ambassador S. Jakštonytė visited Lithuanian stands at the Fair. At the event, the representatives of European and South African institutions of higher education had an excellent opportunity to establish new relationships and reach the agreements on future collaboration. The Embassy assisted Lithuanian delegation in the organization of meetings with the University of Pretoria, the University of South Africa and the University of Western Cape.
