‘‘Musical Stories from Lithuania’’ - a gift to all South African music lovers, and notably for the South African Lithuanian and Litvak communities
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of South Africa, and on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of South Africa and the Lithuanian National Philharmonic present ‘‘Musical Stories from Lithuania’’ - a gift to all South African music lovers, and notably for the South African Lithuanian and Litvak communities.
It’s a broadcasted concert series of works of the World's and Lithuanian most famous composers, performed by the most profound Lithuanian performers.
The first concert will be streaming on the 27th of May, at 6 PM SAST, live from the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, located in the heart of Vilnius Old Town.
