On October 13, 2024, Lithuania will hold its parliamentary elections
Dear citizens of Lithuania,
on October 13, 2024, Lithuania will hold its parliamentary elections. We encourage all citizens of Lithuania who will be in South Africa during the elections to vote.
For those planning to vote by mail, please complete your registration by September 21, 2024.
Voting will be available at three locations: Pretoria, Johannesburg, and Cape Town.
Voting in PRETORIA will take place on:
October 8 from 13:00 to 17:00.
October 10 from 13:00 to 17:00.
October 13 from 10:00 to 19:00.
Location: Lithuanian Embassy to South Africa – 235 Grosvenor str., Hatfield, 0028, Pretoria.
Voting in JOHANNESBURG will take place on:
October 13 ONLY from 11:00 to 16:00.
Location: will be confirmed after registration.
Voting in CAPE TOWN will take place on:
October 8 ONLY from 12:00 to 16:00.
Location: Bagraims Attorneys; 5 de Lorentz street Tamboerskloof , Gardens, 8001, Cape Town.
If a repeat vote is held in the single-mandate electoral district of Lithuanians of the World 27 October 2024, voting will take place at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Pretoria from 10:00 until 19:00. Additionally, early voting will take place on 23 October and 25 October from 13:00 to 17:00.
NOTE: If you have already registered to vote abroad and wish to change your voting method or address, you must complete a new registration and cancel the original registration form.
