The Ambassador discussed the bilateral cultural cooperation with the Parliament Member of South Africa

During her working visit to Cape Town, on the 5th of May, the Ambassador Sigutė Jakštonytė met the chairwoman of the Portfolio Committee on Arts and Culture Xoliswa Sandra Tom.
S. Jakštonytė presented the member of the National Assembly with the current and future plans of the Embassy to introduce Lithuanian art to the people of South Africa and invited Ms Tom to the exhibition of contemporary Lithuanian artists “Zakhor!” which was opened on 4 May in the Jewish Museum in Cape Town. The future possibilities of cultural cooperation between Lithuania and South Africa were also discussed during the meeting.
