The ambassador met Lithuanian students at the Voortrekker high school

On 23 September, 2016 Ambassador Sigute Jakstonyte visited the Voortrekker High School in Pietermaritzburg. Five promising students from Lithuania study and play rugby for the school's first team.
At the meeting with the Ambassador students shared the challenges they faced coming to a different country, and how they managed to adapt in a new environment.
With the school's principal and South Africa's rugby experts Ambassador discussed future cooperation and possibilities for other rugby playing children to study at the Voortrekker High School.
Ambassador S.Jakstonyte also attended School's culture and sports awards ceremony.
