The Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania was commemorated in Cape Town

On 16 February, at the historic neighborhood of Cape Town- V&A Waterfront, Lithuanian Embassy to South Africa commemorated 99th anniversary of the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania.
Lithuanian Ambassador Sigutė Jakštonytė congratulated guests of the reception with the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania and voiced her joy in impressive achievements of Lithuania as well as the importance of this day to every Lithuanian. Members of South African Government and Parliament, the representatives of the diplomatic corps, South African Lithuanians and Litvaks attended the event.
