Valuable art piece from South Africa reached Vilna Gaon Jewish Museum

On 10 May, the diplomat of Lithuanian embassy in South Africa Gediminas Kuras presented Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum with the gift by famous South African artist of Litvak origin William Kentridge- linocut “XA XA XA“. The artwork depicts Nikolai Bukharin, a Bolshevik condemned to death, in whose final story laugh and death are intertwined.
