ON DECEMBER 5-7, 2023 THE LITHUANIAN CONSUL WILL WORK IN CAPE TOWN
The Embassy of Lithuania in the Republic of South Africa is organizing a consular mission to Cape Town on December 5-7, 2023. During the Mission, Consul will accept only the following documents of the CITIZENS of the Republic of Lithuania: Applications for the issuance or replacement of a passport and identity card. Declarations of residence of citizens who have left Lithuania for a period of more than 6 months. Applications for Repatriation certificate. Declarations of lost ID documents. Applications for the entry in the Lithuanian registry accounts of civil status acts registered abroad. Applications for the issuance of records of civil status accounts in the Lithuanian registry. Applications for consular certificates.
The consular mission will take place at the premises of the Bagraims Attorneys' Office at 5 De Lorentz Street, Gardens, Cape Town, 8001. Citizens will be served on Dec. 5 from 13:00 till 16:30, Dec. 6 from 8:30 to 16:30, Dec. 7 from 8:30 to 13:30.
During the consular mission, only those who have been pre-registered and have received confirmation of registration will be served. ONLY ONE PERSON and ONE APPLICATION PER TIME SLOT, ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS. Registration takes place in the electronic registration system ONLY. Link will be open on November 6, 2023 at 2 p.m. and will close on November 30, 2023 at 5 p.m. local time.

Everyone, applying for issuance and renewal of the Lithuanian documents must have a recently made photo that meet specifications at the time of the appointment. If you wish to designate a person to collect documents at the Lithuanian Embassy in Pretoria, you will have to specify it at the time of your appointment, providing their names as in passports, their Lithuanian ID number or their birthday, if not a Lithuanian citizen.
